Support AstroGrid

A one-person hobby project, kept alive by curiosity, late nights, and now a growing audience.

Hi, I'm John, a developer with a deep love for space. AstroGrid is a solo passion project: I design, build, and maintain every part of it myself, from the shaders to the catalogs to the UI.

It started purely out of my own curiosity and excitement about the cosmos, but keeping it running, fixing bugs, and adding new scenes takes a real, ongoing slice of my personal time.

Recently AstroGrid has been featured on Product Hunt and other media, and the user base is growing fast. That's wonderful, but it also means bandwidth, storage, and infrastructure costs are about to step up, and I'll need to start covering real bills to keep the experience smooth for everyone.

To keep AstroGrid online and evolving, I genuinely need your support. Every coffee makes a real difference for a one-person project like this.

No ads, no gated features, no accounts required. Support is entirely optional, and goes directly toward keeping the project alive: servers, data delivery, new scenes, better shaders, and broader catalogs.

Donations are processed by Ko-fi. Tip any amount you like, there are no tiers, no subscriptions, and Ko-fi takes 0% of one-time tips. Every coffee goes straight into the project.

Other ways to help

Sharing AstroGrid with someone who would love it costs nothing and helps just as much. Bug reports and feature ideas are welcome at [email protected].

Thanks for flying with me. ☕
